Science Adventure Club - Give Away!

My business partner/friend and I have been working diligently to fill a gap in the world of science education.  While nearly all children are excited about science, the thought of making a mess, planning an experiment, and *ack* gathering supplies, often sends parents running.

Science Adventure Club will engage children in a lifetime of learning with our monthly science kit series, in which they will receive an exciting *complete* experiment in the mail every month.  Experiments include growing plants, observing live specimens, creating and experimenting with electricity, fossils, dinosaurs, spy science, and Newtons laws.  And that's just the tip of the iceberg!

The website and complete line won't be released until September.

We're giving away a 3 month subscription to the Science Adventure Club to one random blog reader!  To enter, just leave a comment below.  This give away will close at Midnight on Sunday, July 1st.  Good luck!

Our Summer In Pictures - Week 5

Monday we went to the MN Zoo with cousins for "Aunt Leslie's Day Camp"

...it was so hot, we played in the water most of the time.

Picked berries with friends

Went on a boat ride down the mighty Mississippi

Elise had a blast on the boat ride, too!

Baby Madeline's 1st birthday party

Millie pulled the lucky string, and opened up the pinata

We made our annual trek to Wisconsin to pick up fireworks.  Afterwards we went to the farm to play with them.  Elise was nervous.  They had more fun catching fireflies.

Went to the Back To The 50's car show

We tried to go to the Lake Elmo Park Reserve to cool off after the car show, but it was super packed.  We came home and swam in the pool instead.

Box Day!

What is box day?  It's the very exciting day in which all of our homeschool supplies for next year arrive in the mail, and we sit down together, open the boxes, and browse through the materials.  Doesn't that sounds like fun?!  Then, after an hour, the books are put safely away on the homeschool shelf where they'll sit until they're needed next school year.  It's almost  as exciting as opening gifts on Christmas.  :)
Squeeee!
